Malaysian Export Academy to hold retail, wholesale, meeting in Vietnam on April 25 2017
The Malaysian Export Academy is hosting a luncheon talk on retail, wholesale and distribution in Vietnam on April 25 at the Eastin Hotel, Petaling Jaya that will focus on the new regulations issued by Vietnam's Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the stringent and complicated approval process for gaining a trading and retail licence. Discussion topics will cover: distribution channels in Vietnam; retailing your products in Vietnam (B2C); wholesale trading in Vietnam (B2B); the arrival of big brands; and the benefits of manufacturing your products in Vietnam. The presentations will also look at challenges for foreign direct investment (FDI) in the trading and retail sector in Vietnam; and the retail pooling concept that enables mid- to high-end retailers to enter Vietnam market without the need to set up a company and with zero start-up cost.
